Process Safety Advisor in Dalry

Brightwork are supporting with the recruitment of a Process Safety Technical Advisor to join one of our prestigious manufacturing clients at their site on a Full Time, Temporary ongoing Basis with an Immediate start.Duties include:- Prepare and revise safety policies and procedures in the Site Operations Manual to ensure compliance with current legislation and corporate SHE requirements.- Provide practical advice on safety and process safety issues, feeding back when required standards are not being met and making recommendations for corrective action as appropriate.- Execution of safety tours.- Regularly instruct employees with regard to SHES.- Identify, manage, and report on all critical KPI's/ activities relevant for ensuring safety compliance.- Work closely with Process Safety Team Leader to agree realistic safety objectives and produce regular reports on safety performance.- Develop and maintain the Human Reliability Assessment (HRA) database for the site.- Support the SHES team preparation for internal/ external audits and legal interventions.- Support the Safety Specialist with the evolvement of our digital Permit to Work system (PermitCliq) and be a key user within this system, this includes managing the change control within the digital platform, developing training packs, facilitating training and approving competency of end users.- Carry out audits and feedback corrective action.- Support users in Line Breaking & LOTOTO procedure application.- Support users in Safety Equipment Critical Overrides procedure applicationThe successful candidate will possess:- Science or Engineering based degree (or equivalent for the role)- Previous experience working within a similar role, preferably in an Upper Tier COMAH production environment- Proven track record of technical competence in Chemistry and/or engineering discipline together with problem solving and analytical skillsIf interested, please submit your CV to Brightwork today!Brightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
