Private Client Solicitor – NQ - 7 years PQE £41-60K dep on PQE, Wimbledon, SW London (office based)

Our client is one of the largest legal practices in Surrey, and one of the South East’s leading law firms.

They have been recommended in seven specialist areas in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500, and 32 lawyers within the firm are recommended.

Due to business growth, they are looking for a NQ -7 years PQE Private Client Solicitor to join their highly successful Private Client team in their SW London office.

The role

The objective of the role is to undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department, meeting fee earning and other KPI targets.

Reporting to the head of department, duties included as follows:

• Provide a quality service in the provision of wills, power of attorney, trust, probate and tax advice services to clients and other Departments.

• To handle will, power of attorney, trust, probate, and tax advice work for private clients and to build and develop own case load.

• To participate in the marketing of the firm by active participation in networking, seminar provision.

• To participate fully in the activities of the Private Client team

What they are looking for

• Qualified Solicitor NQ - 7yrs PQE

• Technically competent in all aspects of private client

• Proven history of achieving targets in respect of chargeable hours, fees, recovery rate, lock-up and non-chargeable time

• Well-developed interpersonal, social and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Computer literate

• Developing and maintaining a client/referrer base.

• Demonstrates a good sense of commercial awareness.

• Enthusiastic, committed, and hard working

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
