Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Nursery ClassLocation: Primary School, CardiffHours: Full time8:30-3:30Job Start: September 2024A lovely primary school in Cardiff are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and dedicated nursery team in September 2024.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher to provide additional support to children who require extra help, as well as contributing to the smooth running of the nursery.

Responsibilities:Provide individualised support to children who require additional 1:1 support, tailored to their individual needs and abilitiesAssist in the planning and delivery of group activities, including circle time, phonics, and mathsSupport the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons, as well as marking and recording workAssist with snack and lunch duties, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for childrenMaintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development of childrenRequirements:Experience working with childrenAbility to work effectively with children who have special educational needs or disabilitiesStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstancesEnhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain)Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)24 months of referencesWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly rate of £12.
