As a Press Officer at Aston Martin, you’ll be at the heart of our ultra-luxury brand’s major news moments, from high-profile Formula One activations to our innovative product launches and lifestyle partnerships spanning the realms of sport, design and entertainment.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate & Brand Communications, you’ll play a vital role in managing PR projects and campaigns from planning through to execution and evaluation. Working as part of a small but talented global team, you will be challenged to develop dedicated strategies for key news announcements, product launches, and lifestyle events, maintaining an always-on brand story and on-plan approach.

You’ll require excellent relationships with members of the international, national, and regional media, in addition to maintaining and expanding our network of high-profile brand advocates and global influencers.

This isn't a standard 9-5 press office based role. This position requires flexibility and involves working on high-profile events and traveling across the UK and globally. Requiring a PR professional who doesn’t shy away from a challenge, this role requires a hands-on approach to work both strategically and operationally. Working as part of a high-performing Marcomms function, you’ll have the opportunity to create relationships across all aspects of different areas of the business. You’ll have exceptional communication and writing skills, along with the confidence to challenge and persuade where required. Along with a strategic mindsight, you’ll require excellent planning, time management and organisational skills as you’ll be working to multiple ever-changing priorities and deadlines. You’ll be highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and in particular PowerPoint, with a requirement to produce

The Key Requirements...

  • Professional experience operating in a brand or PR agency communications role.
  • Experience working alongside media and influencers to tell brand stories.
  • Project management experience in independently planning and overseeing specific projects, content shoots, or campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of planning and managing media events, content shoots, and product launches.
  • Strong writing and document presentation skills, including the ability to write news and press releases.
  • Experience working with insights and evaluation companies and reporting on their work.
  • The work pattern for this role is Monday – Friday on a hybrid basis with the flexibility needed to travel as and when required with a regular requirement to attend events (nationally and internationally) which could include weekends and overnight stays.
