Position Overview:

As a Sales Engineer at Aptum, you will play a critical role in driving sales and customer success by providing technical expertise and solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

You will collaborate with the sales team to identify and develop opportunities, design and present solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of our services.

Your deep understanding of private cloud, public cloud, and colocation services will be essential in articulating the value and benefits of our offerings to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments and gather technical requirements from clients.
  • Design and present tailored solutions that address clients' business challenges and objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and solution architecture.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to customers, highlighting the value and benefits of Aptum's services.
  • Work closely with the implementation team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to deployment.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to private cloud, public cloud, and colocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for technical inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve our service offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with private cloud, public cloud, and colocation solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Friendly. Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment. Able to manage multiple priorities.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role is desirable, but not required.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are desirable, but not required.
