We are welcoming applications for the role of POLICE STAFF INVESTIGATOR (PIP LEVEL 2) with Devon & Cornwall Police based at the following location(s): Okehampton, Tavistock 

Salary: Grade 7 - Starts at £34,968 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £39,036 per annum 
Please note that the above salary is based on working 37 hours per week. If this role is part-time or you are appointed on a part-time basis your salary will be prorated to reflect this. Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Devon and Cornwall or Dorset Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same grade.

We are looking for a PIP2 trained Investigator, to work within CID at Barnstaple. The team deals with complex and serious crime, from across North and West Devon and you will work on one of 4 rotas covering days, lates and weekends.

The successful applicant will have recent experience of working within an Investigation Team, having ideally been PIP2 qualified within the last 2 years. You will need to have the ability to manage and prioritise a personal workload, as well as working as part of the wider department on dynamic incidents.

Whilst we are a small team, we work closely with each other and achieve some very successful outcomes. We therefore welcome applications from people who are able to successfully work with others, but also with evidence of good performance in your previous role.

    The selection for this role will consist of Shortlisting, Interview.
