Pipefitter in Droitwich Spa

PIPEFITTER – DROITWICH SPA, WORCESTERSHIRE – PERMANENT - £40,+ PLUS BENEFITS

AndersElite require a Pipefitter for an established building services contractor based in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. This is for permanent work and several positions are available commencing from June / July onwards.

The work location is set in a large, modern industrial unit, our client specialising in the manufacturing off site building services solutions to be used on large construction projects for global brands.

The pipefitter is responsible for ensuring that mechanical installations are installed and tested in accordance with the company’s high standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Completion of multi section plantrooms
On time completion of work
Signing of job cards and test certs
Hydrostatic or pneumatic testing of jobs
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company Health & Safety policy
Ensure pipe work assembly complies with Work Instruction W.I. 1
Use only materials specified and allocated for each job
Make sure all workshop tools are accounted for in stores each day
Maintain good housekeeping standards adhering to 5S
Good understanding of on time delivery and right first-time quality
Coach Craft Person/s and Assistants
Ability to read and understand schematic and GA drawings

QUALIFICATIONS:

H&V Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or minimum of four years H&V site installation experience
CSCS Card (preferred)

PAYMENT AND BENEFITS:

Payment is based on an hourly rate (£19.95 per hour). After 38 hours are worked during the week pay rate is increased to £29.92 per hour plus double time if any Sunday hours worked. It would be expected that yearly earnings would comfortably exceed £40,.

In addition, you will receive a company pension, holiday allowance, sick pay allowance and any further training courses required to further your technical development.

The working week will be minimum 38hrs, generally 7.30 – 16.00 Monday to Friday but overtime hours will be available during busier periods which is very regular, allowing employees to supplement their usual earnings.
