Philanthropy Executive
London (with hybrid working – a minimum of two days per week in the office)

The Organisation

We’re Imperial Health Charity, an organisation that helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising. We support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s and the Western Eye.

We are currently seeking a Philanthropy Executive to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Philanthropy Executive, you will grow charitable income for our organisation through engagement and fundraising activities.

Specifically, you will develop relationships with a range of new and existing supporters and identify opportunities to grow income.

Producing excellent quality written communications, you will reach out to major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate supporters. You will manage a small portfolio of donors, ensuring they are made aware of the impact of their support and engaging with them to build positive relationships and grow income.

Additionally, you will:

- Carry out research into new donors and build relationships with them
- Lead the annual Christmas mailing and support the growth of our summer mailing campaign
- Maintain up-to-date donor records on our CRM system
- Ensure all income is accurately recorded on the CRM

About You

To be considered as a Philanthropy Executive, you will need:

- Experience of major gifts, trusts and foundations and/or corporate fundraising or experience in a similar role
- Experience of relationship management and stewardship of supporters, soliciting four or five-figure gifts through face-to-face requests and/or funding proposals
- The ability to travel between hospital sites in West London
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
