The Vacancy

Wates Group has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Personal Assistant (PA) to provide full support to our Group HR Director (Group HRD), and the HR Leadership Team (HRLT). This role is perfect for a proactive and intuitive PA with a proven track record working at an executive level.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for important stakeholders, showing great judgement and a proactive attitude to solving problems. Your will have a proven track record of consistently delivering results, even when things get tough. You will be required to demonstrate high levels of discretion, diplomacy and empathy when dealing regularly with complex and confidential matters.

This job requires first-rate diary management, event coordination, and organisational skills. You'll excel at managing multiple tasks and keeping confidential information safe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diary Management: Coordinate a complex calendar, ensuring optimal use of time and resources for the Group HRD and the HRLT.
  •  Meeting and Event Coordination: Plan, organise, and oversee meetings and HR events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Draft, review, and edit documents with precision, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner.
  • You'll be able to work on your own, taking the initiative to solve problems and make decisions. This role needs energy, a positive attitude, (and a sense of fun!) along with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced setting. Being skilled in the full Microsoft Office suite is essential.
