Performance Manager in London

Insight Investment is looking for a Performance Manager to join the team in London.

The Performance Manager will manage a team focused on delivering top level performance reporting, performance data oversight and performance solutions for the wider Performance team.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage a team of performance professionals with an emphasis on building the team’s relationship with key Insight stakeholders and our outsourced performance provider
• Pro-active analysis and monitoring of performance results to identify issues and sources of improvement
• Provide detailed explanations to fund managers on performance numbers
• Ensure that queries are investigated appropriately and resolved satisfactorily within specified timeframes
• Track and improve KPI statistics for performance teams’ regular reporting and for vendor deliverables to Insight
• Provide ‘value-added’ performance solutions to complement and enhance the existing services of the team and the standard services supplied by our outsourced performance provider
• Foster and maintain successful relationships between the team, its stakeholders, and our outsourced providers

Experience Required

• Strong working knowledge of Performance calculations
• Understanding of a wide range of instrument types would be advantageous, including derivatives
• Knowledge of trade life cycle and investment management process would be advantageous
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and operate with professionalism, honesty, and integrity always
• Solution focused and driven to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and forward-thinking environment
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to demonstrate skills in the understanding and debugging of processes and methodologies
• Strong team player
• Proactive and flexible approach required – the individual will use their skills and experience to develop the role
