Payroll Support AssistantFull Time 37 hours per weekDelivering one of the largest payroll’s in Devon is a challenge but one that we thrive on.

Our busy, friendly staff deal with all aspects of payroll administration.

We are hybrid workers who work in the office and at home.

We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, flexible and well organised with demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines.

You will pocess sound literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills with good attention to detail.

Knowledge of HMRC legislation is an advantage.

Previous experience in payroll or a financial role is essential.

Training will be provided.

Duties of the role include: * General clerical, typing, incoming/outgoing mail, electronic filing, downloading electronic forms, dealing with customer/employee queries (via email or telephone) loading data to the HR and Payroll Management system (HRMS), dealing with output for external customers and other support tasks across a range of activities undertaken by the unit.

* To provide support to the Payroll Officers and similar roles in Employee Services as required.

* To organize high volumes of incoming electronic forms ready for payroll input.

* To operate and maintain, with minimum supervision, a range of clerical and administrative systems as required; including data entry for straightforward payroll input to HRMS * Prioritize workload and work well under pressure.

* To provide clerical support to management and other payroll and HR employee services staff, including support the team leaders to meet both statutory and regulatory requirements.
