Payroll Specialist / Supervisor| Fixed Term Contract | Telford | up to £40,000 | Hybrid-Working / fully remoteThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a well-established business in the Telford area.

The OpportunityWorking as part of the People Service Team, your duties will include: * Payroll processing through the complete employee lifecycle to deliver a focused payroll service covering monthly employee payroll and monthly pensioner payroll * Processing all payroll related data ensuring completion is accurate, timely and compliant with all relevant legislation and compliant with statutory regulations * Accountable for day to day pay related matters including responding to pay and pension queries appropriately and professionally * Completing technical payroll actions including manual calculations * Accountable for the completion of timely reconciliations pre and post payroll processing * Responsible for completion of annual statutory and regulatory requirementsPersonal ProfileWe are looking to speak with immediately Payroll professionals who offer a solid background in full cycle payroll processing and preferably have prior supervisory experience, however, this is not essential.

Although this role is an interim role, there will be an opportunity to apply for a permanent position within the business for the right candidate.

Working as part of the People Service Teams, this business has a strong focus on its employee culture and employee wellbeing, where you will need an empathetic approach to problem solving and query resolution.
