Are you a seasoned Patent Secretary with 6 + years of solid experience in patent support?
We are seeking a highly organised, knowledgeable, and efficient individual to join our client’s dynamic Life Sciences group.
This role involves providing direct support to a Partner, two Senior Associates, and one or more Technical Assistants in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
Our client is a leading Intellectual Property firm renowned for its innovative approach and excellence in the IP sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Fee Earners' caseloads and deadlines alongside handling incoming/outgoing client-related emails
- Drafting standard correspondence, new applications, and response uploads
- Managing Work in Progress (WIP) charges
- Preparing all billing requirements
- Autonomously handling any ad-hoc day-to-day requirements
- Experience with EP, GB and PCT applications
Requirements:
- CIPA qualification is highly desirable
- 6 years+ experience in a similar position
- High level of organisation
- Strong communication skills
While a CIPA IP Paralegal (IPPC) qualification is an advantage, some experience with e-billing will also be beneficial.
