The Role:

As a Patent Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the firm’s patent department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Filing and Prosecution: Managing the filing of UK, European and international patent applications, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Documentation and Records: Maintaining accurate records, handling correspondence with clients, patent offices, and foreign agents and ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with legal requirements
• Client Support: Providing administrative support to the patent attorneys, liaising with clients and managing their portfolios
• Renewals and Invoicing: Coordinating the renewal of patents, handling invoicing and managing the payment of official fees

About You:

As the ideal candidate, you will have prior experience in a similar role within the IP sector.

You should be proficient in patent administration processes and possess strong organisational skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential, as is a proactive approach to problem-solving.
