Pastoral Teaching Assistant - OldhamProspero Teaching are looking for an experienced pastoral teaching assistant in a popular Secondary School in Oldham. This position is to start September 2024 and will be ongoing until July but could become permanent. This position will be ideal for a recent graduate or for someone with teaching assistant experience. You will be supporting with students that find mainstream education over stimulating and experience negative behaviour. The school help these students through a "stepping stone" program to help support them back into mainstream lessons. You must be a robust individual that would be able to understand and help students with SEMH.The opportunity is to work at a school that has 'Good' behaviour and attitudes, which means students behave well in lesson and around the school site. Teachers' expectations of pupils' behaviour and achievements are high.
