Puro Accountancy is pleased to assist an Accountancy firm located in Manchester in their search for a part time Bookkeeper to become part of their experienced and growing team of accounting experts.Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper will include:
Recording sales and purchase invoices
Bank reconciliation
Preparation of VAT returns
Processing payroll journals
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Balancing sheet account reconciliation
Skilled in managing a client portfolio within a practice setting
Capable of working autonomously and comfortable resolving inquiries and requesting information from clients
To be considered for the role of Bookkeeper you will be/have:
A minimum of 2 years working within a UK practice Accountants
AAT qualified or looking to complete this or equivalent soon
Have exposure with various software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and DEXT
Hold good knowledge of VAT and the ability to apply VAT rules and regulations
