Paralegal in London

Our client is an established and reputable global asset manager, with a diverse portfolio of investment strategies and an international legal team in offices across the United States and Europe.

This organisation continues to perform well and is growing, serving a global institutional and retail client base.

We are now looking for a paralegal with asset management experience to join the London legal team in a role that has both breadth and responsibility and will involve :

• Assisting with the review, amendment and organisation of investment management agreements (IMAs) and other ancillary asset management/commercial contracts;
• Onboarding of new UK/international clients;
• Corporate governance work, including the arrangement of board packs, drafting board resolutions and undertaking Companies House filings;
• Helping with administrative duties, including managing invoices and monitoring legal spend;
• Engaging with firm-wide projects, which may related to corporate acquisitions or regulatory developments, for example.

As this role has breadth and is dynamic in nature, you will need to be a natural problem-solver, with an inquisitive nature with the ability to ‘think on your feet’.

You will form part of a cohesive, well-respected and established legal team who will offer support and guidance from the outset, including towards qualifying as a lawyer through the SQE route, if this is an ambition of the successful candidate.
