Shift Operations Manager
Are you an experienced manufacturing team manager with FMCG experience?
Do you have a continuous improvement mindset and an ability to get the best out of your teams?
Are you looking to join an exciting business who has their people at the forefront of all they do?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading manufacturing business on the search for a Shift Operations Manager. This is an 18 Month FTC role based in Penrith.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all team members to align with all requirements and behaviours of their role.
- Responsible for motivating, leading & coaching of all Team Members.
- Monitor team performance, identifying, evaluating and developing initiatives to ensure skill and competency levels are maintained.
- Ensure manufacturing and conformance to plan targets are met and deploy the labour plan.
- Responsible for OEE and potential efficiency.
- Ensure effective communication between manufacturing teams.
- Ensure QMS and procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility.
- Achieve and maintain hygiene audit standards always.
- Take accountability for ensuring all relevant documentation is completed to the required standard.
What are we looking for?
- Proven leadership skills, leading by example, demonstrating high standards of behaviour, honesty and integrity.
- Be a confident, effective and challenging communicator, and be able to demonstrate a track record in leading teams.
- Management experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working within a Lean Environment.
- Develop and support the team in all areas of responsibility.
- An accountable mentality is essential.
Circa £42k + package.
