The Office Manager is a pivotal role within our company, responsible for managing office operations and fostering a positive, energetic, and fun workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be full of ideas, take initiative, and be passionate about making the office a great place to work. This person will ensure that the office runs smoothly while also creating an environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and happiness.

Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies management, mail handling, and facility maintenance

- Maintain a clean, tidy and efficiently operated office

- Manage desk booking system for meetings

- Organise company socials and any ad-hoc events where needed

- Budget management (socials, office food and drink, stationery etc)

- Ensure compliance with health and safety and fire

- Manage relationship with IT equipment provider

- Manage security and safety in regards to the office (fob system management)

- Assist in onboarding new employees, ensuring that have a smooth transition into the company

- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Managing Director

- Provide excellent customer service to visitors, clients and employees

- Develop and implement fun and engaging office activities, events, and traditions

- Generate and execute innovative ideas to improve office life and enhance the overall work environment

- Foster a positive and inclusive office culture that reflects the company’s values

Requirements

  1. You’ll need to be fun, enthusiastic, and full of ideas
  2. We’d like you to be proactive and take initiative
  3. Passionate about making the office a great place to work is a must
  4. Ideally, you’d have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. You’ll have a creative and innovative mindset with a knack for planning engaging activities
  6. We’d love it if you had excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  7. Proficiency in office software (e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace) is ideal, but not essential
