The Opportunity -

Firetech is an ambitious, highly professional and growing Manchester-based passive fire protection contractor. We have an impressive portfolio of major clients and we’re well established in a number of dynamic and growing markets.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of our team, to help push the business and their own career to new levels.

Ideally, but not essentially you’ll have 2 years of experience working in a busy construction company office. Most importantly you’ll be an organised and ambitious self-starter who’s willing to learn and to contribute to all aspects of the business.

The Role -

The Office Manager is responsible for assisting the management team with the day-to-day operations of the business and supporting the delivery of the agreed business strategy. That involves:

• Ensuring business certifications are up to date and preparing for and conducting annual audits.
• Scheduling and leading team meetings
• Managing the distribution arm of the business, including processing orders and creating invoices.
• Completing pre-qualification questionnaires
• Data analysis and reporting on a range of business metrics
• Contributing to marketing
• Managing the Training Matrix and booking training courses.
• Booking accommodationGeneral office admin functions including stationery, mail, phone, utilities etc

About You –

You’ll be able to work on your own initiative, and bring innovative thinking to the team. You’ll be enthusiastic, an excellent communicator and team player with a meticulous attention to detail.

You will be proficient in use of Word, Excel and Xero. You’ll have the ability to build good relations with clients and colleagues

Benefits -

Salary £27,500 - £37,500 depending on experience
