Office assistant- Interim 6 monthsnLondon- 5 days a week on siten£180-200 per day

Network HR have been retained to lead the hire of a temporary Office assistant on a 6-month temporary contract for a bespoke international financial services firm. The Office assistant will provide a first-class administrative support to their fast- paced and vibrant business in London, and be the point person for partners, employees, visiting guests and high value shareholders. You will be responsible for providing dedicated support in undertaking a range of administrative and coordination tasks using initiative. The successful Office assistant will be a self-starter who is a confident communicator, anticipating the needs of internal stakeholders and clients and provides prompt action to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Other responsibilities will include:

Office ManagementnEnsure consistent coverage in the office, acting as a point of contact alongside the Office ManagernAssist with coordination and preparation of internal and external meetings, room booking, visitor booking, arranging catering, and providing in-person support during meetings.nProvide admin support for booking couriers, ordering kitchen supplies, stationery, and maintaining of plants within the office.nDistribute all incoming and outgoing post.nCollaborate with the Loading Bay to promptly handle all deliveriesnBook and greet external visitors upon arrival at receptionnLiaise between the business and Building Management as needed, ensuring all meeting room equipment is operational, escalating issues to the Office manager and IT ManagernEnsure all kit on office desks is complete, flagging any missing items to the Office ManagernHelp keep the kitchen space clean and tidy throughout the day.nMonitor and maintain the coffee machine, ensuring consumables are stocked and the machine is cleannOrder equipment for new starters and staff in coordination with the Office Manager and IT ManagernManage user access within IT systems such as Appspace.nAssist the Social Committee in organising office eventsnAssist in screening phone calls and voicemails to the office telephone, forwarding messages to the relevant person or team.nProvide cover for the Office Manager during their absence.nAssist with any international travel in the absence of the Executive AssistantnSupport data entry as needed by the business.

The successful Office assistant will have at least 12 months experience operating in a similar role. We are looking for an immediate start.
