This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education and development to work in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: * Childcare: Provide high-quality care for children aged 0-5, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development at all times.

* Curriculum Support: Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programs that stimulate children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth.

* Supervision: Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

* Health and Hygiene: Promote and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the nursery, including diaper changing, toilet training, and meal preparation.

* Observation and Reporting: Observe and record children's progress, behaviours, and milestones, and report any concerns to senior staff and parents.

* Communication: Maintain effective communication with parents and carers, providing updates on their child's day and responding to any inquiries or concerns.

* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other nursery staff to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere, contributing to team meetings and supporting colleagues as needed.

* Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and regulations, including safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality.

Requirements: * Qualifications: A relevant childcare qualification (e.

g.

, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education) is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

* Experience: Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.

* Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a caring and patient nature, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Knowledge: Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and principles of child development.
