NDT Inspector in Sheffield

We are currently seeking an experienced NDT Inspector to join the team at this exciting time of expansion. PAY:£37,354.29 + 17% shift allowanceShifts: Initially mornings and afternoons, after training is completed this will return to a 3 shift pattern. JOB OVERVIEW: Elevation recruitment is looking for an experienced and skilled NDT Inspector for a key role at a Sheffield based aerospace business. The role will be reporting into the business unit manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review routers, procedures, specifications and any other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform the operation.Process parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions.Set up, calibrate and perform process control checks on equipment by following instructions and record results.To generate new/amend NDT data cards for approval by the Level III.Interpret, evaluate and report evaluation results as required.Fill out required logs and statistical data sheets as required.Maintain required job skills and knowledge of requirements (including procedures, specifications etc)Maintain work area, equipment and all documents/records to be audit ready at all times.Provide on the job training to trainees and fellow level II inspectors when required.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Aerospace industry experienceCurrently hold NAS410/EN4179 Level 2 FPIMust be skilled in dye penetrant testingCOMPANY BENEFITS:185 hours holidays per annum with an option to buy/sell up to 37 hours holiday every yearPaid Christmas close down days37 hour working week, short day Fridays & 4 day week for night shift workers and all Bank HolidaysExcellent Employee Assistance Programme availableYuLife app -access to a GP 24/7 and earn for steps/cycling or meditation which can be turned into vouchers for Amazon/All major supermarkets/Halfords/Argos/ASOS/IKEA/B&QBravo benefits to include discounts on gym memberships & shoppingSalary Sacrifice scheme for Electric /Hybrid Cars / Critical Illness CoverFree hot drink FridaysWestfield Health SchemeFree Parking
