Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerSalary: £42,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunitiesHours: 4 On 4 Off 12 Hour ShiftsLocation: Commutable from Gravesend, Rochester, Aylesford, Sevenoaks, South Ockenden, Erith, Orpington, West Malling and surrounding areasCompanyWe are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within a large company at one of their premium factories on the south side of the Thames in Kent. Don't delay and apply now to be considered for this exciting opportunity with a successful company that continues to grow.ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Engineers get the opportunity to cover both electro-mechanical maintenance work across the factory and you are encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side, whether this be mechanical or electrical.Your main and primary role is supporting all production machinery. This includes combating and resolving breakdowns and machinery problems. Also working through planned preventative maintenance and undertaking project work too, including new installations etc.RequirementsMaintenance or Service background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated etc.Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications - this could be mechanical or electrical.Have good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems etc.Are multi-skilled across electrical & mechanical – either bias is welcome – additional Electronics skills, especially fault finding to component level is very useful.Good fault-finding skills.Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a teamProactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirtyEnsure all activities are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety instructions and the Health and Safety manual & relevant engineering standardsIf this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Alec at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
