Mechanical Fitter CONTRACT

Outside IR35 £20-25P/H, Warwickshire

6 months +Extensions.

Hamilton Woods is a leading supplier to the water and sewage treatment industry. They provide comprehensive solutions for stormwater management and sewage processing. Their processes involve designing, manufacturing, and installing complex sewage systems, ensuring efficient and reliable operations for their clients.

Project / Role Focus: This is an assembly-to-design job, focusing on mechanically fitting the infrastructure as detailed in design schematics. The work involves operating in a challenging and sometimes smelly environment due to the nature of sewage systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assembling and fitting 300-400 cast iron pipes to sewage tanks, specifically for stormwater management.
• Hooking up the system to pumping stations and RCBs.
• Working with nuts, bolts, flanges, and applying correct torque settings.
• Following P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) to ensure accurate assembly.
• Operating in confined spaces and at heights as required.

Key Deliverables:

• Accurate and efficient assembly of sewage infrastructure according to design schematics.
• Ensuring all fittings and connections are secure and meet safety standards.
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time.

Essential Experience:

• Must have a valid CSCS card.
• Experience in the water or industrial sectors.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous work in water treatment or sewage infrastructure projects.

Progression / Contract Extension: There is a potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs.
