Maths Teacher - SEN - SouthamptonAcademics are currently supporting an SEN Secondary School in Southampton to secure a Maths Teacher for a permanent, full time position from September 2024.

The school cater to children who are able learners with an ASC diagnosis, associated needs and an EHCP.

You will be responsible for ensuring each child is treated as an individual and that you make a positive impact on their school life.

As a Maths Teacher you will be expected to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where pupils of all abilities can develop their skills and problem solving techniques.

You must be happy and confident in teaching from Key Stage 2 up to Key Stage 4.

To be considered for the Maths Teacher position, you should:

Have a real enthusiasm for teaching Maths across year groups.
Have a degree in Maths or related subject as well as QTS.
Demonstrate talent, passion and innovation in teaching.
Possess a genuine desire to inspire our children and young people.
Be experienced in working in SEN settings or a strong desire to work in one.
Exhibit excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be self-motivated, reliable, and a good team player.
