Competitive salary, 27 days holiday increasing with service up to 30 days (option to buy /sell), pension contributions up to 9%, healthcare cash plan for you and your children and an extensive flexible benefit programFull time on site workingMarshall, an independent, family-owned British company, proudly helping our customers move forwards since 1909 Marshall Land Systems require a new Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations Planning Department.The successful candidate will be expected to support, and where required, take the lead on projects with the following responsibilities;Your responsibilities in this role include:Concurrent Engineering and input into Product DevelopmentSupporting the bid, estimating and ongoing product cost development processesCreation of Standard Routings, work instructions and BoM's from Engineering dataSetting of estimated Operation timesCreation of Shop Orders and Job PacksInvolvement in Design amendments and the further updates to manufacturing data and the rework of PartsReporting of Planning and Manufacturing progressLiaising with Purchasing for outsource of workTooling/ Jig Design & DevelopmentSupport and pursue Continuous Improvement initiatives Apply if you have most of the following:Experience within a Manufacturing or Production EnvironmentExperience with the use of MRP/ERP systems and proficient in the use of MS Office applicationsAbility to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and other related dataApprenticeship, Professional Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
