Job Specification
• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies to attain the goals of the board.
• Provide strategic advice to the board so that they will have an accurate view of the market and the company’s future.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
• Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
• Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company stability and growth.
• Overseeing the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures.
• Building and enhancing the company's public profile at events, speaking engagements, etc.
• Manage resources, including the attracting, hiring and retention of personnel.
• Preparation of annual reports and attending/presenting at board meetings.
• Maintain the quality of products, services, customer support and level of service in line with service level agreements and other retention strategies.
• Continuous monitoring of the annual budget and ensuring that revenue/sales targets are met.
• Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, the FCA and the ESMA.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's footprint and revenue streams.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Managing Director or a senior managerial role.
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic business plans.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Fintech and Finance.
• Proven experience working in administration or project management.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Fintech (specifically P2P lending), and FCA regulations.
• Must have SMF3 approval by the FCA, or the qualifications ready for approval.
• Great organisational and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of dealing with problems efficiently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or any related field.
