We are working with a Northallerton based client who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their busy team.
Responsibilities include: * Supporting the Finance Business Partner in maintaining financial control for all business segments * Production of management accounts and budgets * Work closely with the HWRC Administrator to ensure timely processing of transactions; charges and rebates * Production of any financial reporting as/when required * Make sure balance sheet controls are monitored and maintained, and support is provided for key elements * Support of the production of Year End and auditor informationIdeally you will have: * Current progression with AAT and/or actively wanting to progress this to a professional accountancy qualification.
If AAT is already passed, actively studying towards CIMA, ACA or ACCA would be an advantage.
* Great knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced level Excel.
* Knowledge of Financial Operations.
* Understanding of balance sheet reconciliations.
* Knowledge of a modern financial system, such as Sage 200.
* High numeracy skill level and attention to detail.
* Proactive approach to evaluating numbers and ensuring they reflect reality.
