Maintenance EngineerBonus + Bupa Private Health Care + Prospects + Overtime + Fantastic Pension SchemeJob Type: Full time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, daysSalary: £50,000 per annum DOE + overtime available (anything above 45 hrs is 1.5 times or 2 times Excellent role on offer for an ambitious Maintenance Engineer looking to join a global, market leading manufacturing company where you will play an integral part in maintaining and repairing all plant and machinery whilst ensuring the requisite health, safety and GMP requirements are upheld.The primary function of this role is to carry out multi-skilled maintenance tasks, with a bias towards mechanical maintenance.As a Maintenance Engineer your job will require you to:* Carrying out Preventative maintenance tasks* Perform full range of plant maintenance tasks and repairs on a proactive/planned and reactive basis* Electrical & Mechanical Fault Finding* Use predictive maintenance techniques such as thermo-graphic imaging and vibration analysis as well as experience, skill and judgement to make regular assessments of the plant condition.* Implement equipment reliability improvements and develop new maintenance work-flow methods and techniques.* Maintain PLC controlled plant systems including pneumatic and hydraulic components.* Provide support to the engineering team in carrying out maintenance tasks efficiently.* Get involved with project works when required.About you as the Maintenance Engineer:* NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Mechanical Engineering* Proven experience in mechanical maintenance* Electrical qualification * Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills* Problem solving / breakdown analysis* Experience with PLC controlled plant equipment* Working at heights experience - preferred* Food/FMCG Experience* PPM and Breakdowns* Quality focused, conscientious and self-motivated* Be flexible, adjust shifts to cover other engineers holiday.Hours : 45 hrs, Mon-Fri DaysEarly's: Mon - Fri 6:00 - 15:30Late's: Mon - Thurs 9:30 - 20:00, Fri 9.30 - 15:00The role will involve covering the weekly night shift up to 6 occasions a year.The Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:* Working for a market leading manufacturing company* Training and development available* £50k DOE + Bonus + Overtime* Pension (Employee- 5%, Employer 10%)* Private Health Care With Bupa* Life Assurance* 33 HolidaysIf you are interested in the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, please apply immediately or call Noemi on (phone number removed) for a confidential chat.Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited group of companies includes Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited and Grafton Professional Staffing Limited.
