Maintenance Engineer Multi Skilled in Brighton and Hove

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance experience for a large, well established and stable manufacturing and production company in the Brighton area.As the multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job duties include: * Complete scheduled maintenance work, as well as responding to ad-hoc machinery breakdowns, ensuring product quality and food safe standards are met * Maintain workplace equipment ensuring a smooth and productive operation * Operate machinery to agreed parameters * Identify issues and problem solve on the production line * Report daily on breakdowns tended to * Provide suggestions and solutions to help improve efficiency and reduce downtime * Cover on shift repair activities across site as required * Carry out mechanical work but some electrical work will also be necessarySkills & experience required: * Ideally you will have experience in a similar role * It is essential that you have experience as a Maintenance Engineer, with a mix of electrical/electronic and mechanical experience (ideally 60% mechanical and 40% electrical experience) * Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings and diagrams * Previous experience in food production or similar, working with machinery such as conveyors, metal detectors, blenders/mixers, form/fill liquid fillers and such like is highly desirableCompany Benefits: * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Product discounts * Pension scheme * Life cover * Employee Assistance / mental health support * Reward Gateway - discounts at supermarkets and other retail outlets * Salary finance * Free eye tests * Cycle to work scheme * Discretionary annual bonusThis is a full time permanent position working 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and offering a salary of up to £40,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy
