Maintenance Engineer in Hay Mills

A family-owned manufacturing company are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their West Midlands based manufacturing and extrusion plant.Available due to significant growth and continued expansion, the main purpose of the role is to provide support for the site on production machines, including extrusion, injection moulding, conveyors, window fabricating and glass machinery, ensuring works are completed efficiently and with machine downtime being kept to a minimum.As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -Fault finding, PPM, installations and upgrades to production machines and siteEfficient response to reactive maintenance requests, aiming for minimum disruption to productionEnsuring all work is completed adhering to the latest Health & Safety Regulations and best practices We are keen to speak to anyone who has -Completed a recognised maintenance apprenticeshipElectrical experience, ideally with recognised qualificationPractical hands-on maintenance experience within a production/manufacturing environment - specifically with extrusion and injection mouldingExperience with pneumatic and hydraulic systemsExperience of fault finding on PLC's (Siemens S5 and S7, Mitsubishi) On offer - A salary of up to £45,000 (some flexibility for the right person)Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm. 42.5 hours per weekOvertime (if required) paid at time + quarter mid-week, time + half at weekends28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Based in the West Midlands, this role is commutable from Wolverhampton, Coventry, Birmingham and all surrounding areasApply now to start your application!ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
