M365 Infrastructure Engineer in London

James Adams is currently looking for an experienced M365 Infrastructure Engineer. This is a 3 month initial contract working hybrid remotely in London.

Our client seeking a passionate Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and play a key role in supporting their M365 environment, maintaining on-prem and cloud infrastructure, and ensuring robust cybersecurity across all locations.

What you'll be doing:

• M365 Expertise: You'll be the go-to person for all things M365, providing support, implementation, and design services. You'll troubleshoot incidents, develop documentation, and monitor usage to optimize performance.
• Infrastructure Management: You'll be responsible for the smooth operation of on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including networks, storage, and software. This includes proactive monitoring, performance analysis, and ensuring all services meet SLAs.
• Security Champion: Security is paramount! You'll collaborate with the Security Team to implement and maintain controls, ensuring data confidentiality, availability, and compliance with regulations. You'll also assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Project Powerhouse: You'll be a key player in our projects, collaborating with colleagues to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
• Communication & Collaboration: You'll work effectively with internal teams (IT Services, Service Desk, Risk Management) and external vendors to resolve issues and deliver exceptional service.

You're a perfect fit if you have:

• Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with a strong specialization in M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams).
• Deep knowledge of Azure AD, Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD Connect), Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure) and a strong understanding of security principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You can explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and document procedures clearly.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A plus if you have:

• Experience with Oracle and SQL databases, VMware vSphere, and Citrix XenApp.
• Professional qualifications from Microsoft (preferred), VMWare, or Citrix.
• A full clean driving license and willingness to travel (depending on the company).
