What you’ll do

We are on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic Legal Support Assistant (LSA) to join our busy Disputed Wills team on a full time basis in our Exeter office.

As an integral part of the team, you’ll ensure the provision of an efficient and effective PA and secretarial support service to assigned stakeholders.

The role of the LSA is to provide a full range of administrative and secretarial support to the assigned fee-earners which will include communicating and liaising with clients, assisting with client onboarding, the preparation and printing of necessary documentation as required (letters, court papers, court bundles etc); together with the necessary accounting requirements for invoicing.

Responsibilities also include duties such as arranging travel and booking accommodation, diary management and preparing expense claims.

Creating key contacts around firm, you will liaise with many support teams throughout the firm and also assist other LSA’s and fee-earners as and when required.

Who you are

You will ideally have previous experience as an LSA or as a strong administrator.

Experience within the Trusts and Estates department would be preferable.

You'll be an enthusiastic, well-organised self-starter who enjoys working within a busy team and independently, and will demonstrate an ability to respond to the needs of the business, acting professionally and ethically to protect the confidentiality of the Firm and its people.

As a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for building effective working relationships across all levels.
