This company have a passion for their people; they believe in investing in their staff to help them reach their full potential.THE ROLE: The Legal Assistant will provide legal support and assistance as and when required, working in partnership with the internal collections department and external solicitors, along with the wider team. Duties include: Organising and prioritising the day's work to ensure a prompt startTyping various documents from audio or copy typing as requiredLiaising with clients and other parties in person and over the phoneManaging the line manager's diary and communicating appointmentsTaking accurate messages and relaying them appropriatelyProviding cover and supporting other departments as requiredTo provide refreshments for meetings with clients and to clear away afterwards.Assisting with financial transactions and handling disbursementsAssisting fee earners in creating and updating precedent letters and documentsActing as a witness on document signatures when neededFollowing instructions and advice from the line manager accuratelyFamiliarising yourself with and adhering to the firm's procedures as outlined in the handbookYOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Previous experience working within a Legal firm, ideally with an understanding of conveyancingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailThrive in a fast-paced environmentAble to manage and prioritise work loadA good working knowledge of MS Word, excel, outlook and windows software TO APPLY: Please apply online, call our office on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
