A highly regarded family run firm based in Stockport is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Aid Billing Clerk to join its friendly team.
Previous Legal Aid Billing experience is essential for this role.
Duties include:
- Processing bills prepared by a costs draftsman/preparing bills
- Billing Legal Aid, Legal Help and private files
- Liaising with counsel and experts regarding disbursements
- Making applications and dealing with the Legal Aid Agency
- Liaising with partners, fee earners and support staff
