Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: MaidstoneSchool: Outstanding All Age District Special SchoolAs a Teaching Assistant at this exceptional special needs school, you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment dedicated to providing high-quality education and care to children and young people aged 2-19 with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:Supporting students with profound, severe, and complex learning difficulties, including ASD, in their daily activities and learning.

Assisting with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the comfort and well-being of students.

Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies.

Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

Requirements:Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) preferred.

Ability to provide personal care assistance, including toileting and feeding.

Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and obtain necessary clearances.
