This ofsted rated Good school is looking for a long term Learning Mentor to de-escalte students in crisis, manage behaviours that challenge, and remove students from classrooms when required to do so.You must be able to demonstrate a level of flexibility working within varying age groups across KS3 - KS4. You will be required to assist with the delivery of daily lessons and support on a 1:1 and small group basis with children across both core and foundation lessons. The pupils do have a range of needs and it is important to have an understanding of SEMH, ADHD and ASC.In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria; * Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident * Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a primary setting * Two suitable references covering the last 2 years * Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new oneThe Enlighten Difference:We are an environmentally-friendly education supply agency providing quality talent to local schools across London and surrounding areas.
