Lead Engineer

£60,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)

Remote First (with the ability to attend their Glasgow City Centre office if/when required)

Eden Scott is delighted to be partnering with one of Scotland's brightest and most dynamic scale-ups. They are looking for a Lead Engineer to join them on a permanent basis and help drive forward new development across their cloud platform.

This organisation is working on cutting edge IOT solutions to solve real world problems across a wide variety of industry sectors. With large scale recent investment and new projects across the world, they're looking for a Team Lead who can work as part of their Cloud Development Team to both deliver on technical solutions and also lead the team. • C# and .Net Core
• Angular
• Typescript

In order to be successful in your application, you should show:

• A proven track record of hands-on software engineering / development, ideally aligned towards the tech stack
• Knowledge of RESTful web services
• Demonstrable experience of leading small scale software engineering teams
• The ability to:
• take the lead in the development of back end applications and multiple projects
• mentor engineering staff and perform code reviews
• lead sprint planning
• lead improvements in processes and practices across the team
• be the first port of call for any technical queries or challenges faced by the team
