KS2 Teaching Assistant in Dudley

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join a vibrant KS2 class at a Primary School in Dudley.

This full-time position starts in September 2024 and offers a long-term career opportunity in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

The role will be from 8:30am – 4:00pm and will also have the potential of being temp to perm for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities: * Provide dedicated support to KS2 students with SEN, helping them to achieve their full potential.

* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

* Support students with their social and emotional development.

* Monitor and record students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and strategies to meet students’ needs.

* Collaborate with the SEN team and other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Qualifications and Skills: * Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting.

* Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

* A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
