Ks2 Teacher in Leeds

At AK Teaching, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a Primary School in Leeds this September.

This full-time position is currently fixed term until August 2025, with the potential for extension.

We welcome applications from both ECT’s and experienced educators.

Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students in KS2.

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets.

* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.

* Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and orderly classroom.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, ideas and best practices.

* Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.

* Take on subject leadership responsibilities, if appropriate, to drive curriculum development and innovation.

* Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding by promoting the welfare of students and adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
