We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Specialist School in Nottingham City Centre.

You will be instrumental in the kitchen by serving snacks and lunch to around 80 pupils in our specialist autistic school that encompasses primary to secondary aged students.

Duties include serving cold snack and hot lunches, setting up dining hall for lunch, making up food boxes to spec, pot washing, prepping food, setting up cold counter to spec, supporting Teacher’s requirements for their students on an ad hock basis, setting up food trolley, understanding and exercising portion control when serving.

Having the ability to be flexible in your approaches is vital, as student needs may change.

We require that staff are be able to maintain an environment where our pupils feel happy, safe and valued.

Salary: £16,525.
