Junior C# Developer – Up to £40k (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, manage, and resolve incidents for supported systems in collaboration with internal teams and third-party support partners
• Identify, manage, and resolve underlying system problems
• Responsible for 2nd and 3rd line application support, proactively identifying service improvement opportunities for the application estate
• Conduct testing and deployment of developed solutions
• Create and maintain both technical and non-technical documentation
• Review and implement upgrades and fixes provided by system software suppliers
• Collaborate with other IS team members to deliver system changes, including releases, training, and user documentation
• Perform regular systems quality assurance activities to ensure optimal system operation
• Ensure security compliance of all systems through regular audits of security controls and proactive implementation of preventive measures
• Liaise with external software suppliers and specialist teams in the design and delivery of application-related projects

Key experience:

• Support the development and upkeep of software applications by adhering to coding standards and best practices
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across multiple platforms and technologies
• Engage in code reviews, paired programming, and debugging sessions to improve coding skills
• Solicit feedback and actively engage in training sessions to enhance technical skills
• Communicate effectively with team members to share progress updates, discuss challenges, and brainstorm solutions
• Confident in presenting to and speaking before team members, management, and business users
