Junior Finance Analyst in Croydon

Zotefoams plc (LSE – ZTF) is a world leader in cellular material technology. With production facilities in Croydon, UK and Kentucky, USA, Zotefoams manufactures lightweight foams using environmentally friendly nitrogen expansion. Their foams are used in a variety of industries including sports and leisure, automotive, aviation and space, healthcare, and more. In addition to foam production, Zotefoams owns and licenses patented MuCell® microcellular foam technology and sells T-FIT® advanced insulation systems made from their patented ZOTEK® fluoropolymer foams.

We are looking for a highly skilled Group Reporting Analyst at Zotefoams to lead our external reporting within the Group Finance function. The Group Reporting Analyst role will be located in London, with flexibility for some remote work. 

The successful candidate Group Reporting Analyst will:

Support the Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis to:

Deliver the Group’s monthly Board reporting pack

Deliver the Group’s annual budget, quarterly forecasting updates and annual strategic 5-year plan

Run and deliver financial reports & analysis on time and to a standard that enables effective decision-making

Play a core role in ensuring financial IT systems and Business Intelligence tools are effective in channeling accounting data into useful business data for proper analysis

The analyst will get exposure to, and experience in, the wide range of areas the team covers to build their skillet, as well as exposure to the senior management and the Executive team.

Key Accountabilities:

Deliver the Group’s annual budget, quarterly forecasting updates and annual strategic 5-year plan:• Review & challenge overseas subsidiary submissions.• Analyse group contribution & gross margins.• Prepare forecasting pack commentary for Head of FP&A & CFO review.Deliver the Group’s monthly Board reporting pack:• Review & challenge overseas subsidiary submissions.• Assist Plant Controller with UK contribution & gross margin analysis.• Perform group contribution & gross margin analysis.• Assist Financial Accountant with preparation & analysis of group working capital.• Prepare Board pack commentary for Head of FP&A & CFO review.Run and deliver financial reports & analysis on time and to a standard that enables effective decision making:• Prepare Group profitability analysis to support monthly S&OP cycle.• Support reporting and analysis for the Group’s half-year and full-year external reporting requirements.• Ad hoc reporting & analysis as required by the business.Play a core role in ensuring financial IT systems and Business Intelligence tools are effective in channelling accounting data into useful business data for proper analysis:• Assist in the implementation of an FP&A reporting system.• Work with Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to improve existing & develop new reporting analysis through Power BI or similar tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

• Experience writing reports for senior executives.• Experience in building and using complex excel spreadsheets.• Experience in deriving meaningful analysis from complex and plentiful data.• Experience of costing in a manufacturing environment highly beneficial.

Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills, experience with integrated ERP/MRP systems.• Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present information to senior management effectively and succinctly.• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI and Tagetik useful.• High standards of accuracy and organisational skills.• Ability to work diplomatically with peers and senior executives, as well as with people on the shop floor of a production environment.• Excellent work ethic and a productive and reliable team member.• Ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, with post qualification experience.
