Job Title: M&A Analyst

Position Overview:

The M&A Assocuate (1) will play a pivotal role in supporting our M&A advisory team throughout the entire deal lifecycle. This role presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executing transactions, conducting financial analysis, performing due diligence, and assisting in client management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for driving value creation in emerging market contexts.


Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis, to assess the feasibility and potential impact of M&A transactions.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscapes to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in conducting due diligence activities, including reviewing financial statements, analyzing operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and preparing due diligence reports.
  • Deal Execution: Support the deal execution process by assisting in the preparation of transaction documents, coordinating with legal and financial advisors, and managing project timelines to ensure smooth and efficient deal closings.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate closely with senior team members to develop client presentations, participate in client meetings, and provide timely updates on deal progress and key milestones.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, counterparties, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and enhance deal outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory, preferably in emerging markets.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a high level of accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to emerging markets are a plus.
