Investment Analyst in London

Madison Berkeley is excited to be working exclusively with a global investment manager who are looking for a Private Equity RE Investment Analyst to join their growing European team.

The role involves working on cross-sector and cross-border Real Estate Investment deals, based in London.

They are very acquisitive at the moment following a successful new fund raise, and are targeting Industrial and Logistics assets, Offices and Living Sector opportunities.

Candidates must speak fluent French or German and have experience of European Capital Markets.

They offer exposure to a broad range of real estate activities across Europe, as well as a very collaborative team culture, with strong career prospects for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities in the real estate sector across Europe
• Conduct market research and analysis to support the investment decision-making process
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals
• Assist in the underwriting, structuring, and closing of real estate transactions
• Prepare detailed financial models and investment memorandums
• Conduct due diligence, including site visits, financial analysis, and risk assessment
• Monitor and manage the performance of existing real estate investments.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize asset performance and value

• Requirements1 – 3 years RE Investment experience from an Investment Management, Private Equity or similar business
• Strong proficient in financial modelling in excel
• In depth understanding of real estate markets and investment strategies
• Willingness to travel across Europe
• Fluency in French or German is essential, with additional language skills highly desirable
