Internal Controls Manager in Nottingham

Exclusive Opportunity Internal Control Manager £65-75k depending on experience (Hybrid working model, competitive package) Nottingham SF Recruitment is hiring for a well known manufacturing/service client based in Nottingham for the position of Internal Control Manager , this is a fantastic opportunity for an Audit Accountant to join a growing business at an extremely exciting time as they continue to grow Core responsibilities include: - Manage and enhance the Internal Control System (ICS) in collaboration with cross-functional teams, serving as the primary contact for the UK and oversees - Conduct ICS testing activities, ensuring adherence to established procedures and identifying areas for improvement - Manage the ICS system, tracking measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies - Support the implementation of remediation plans required to close identified control gaps and to optimise local processes, striving for increased automation and efficiency. - Report and communicate with the regional management the results of ICS testing and support required to implement the remediation plans - Lead and implement initiatives aimed at optimizing the local ICS system, focusing on enhancing transparency and effectiveness Prior Experience and Qualifications - Ideally fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA or ACA) - Great communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders - Minimum 3 years previous experience in audit within practise - Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and enhancing business results - Ability to simplify complex processes and automate where possible to eliminate non-value-added work This role is ideally suited to a candidate who already possesses an audit role and is looking for there first role into industry.
