Job Description

As an Internal Communications Officer , you will work on a wide range of communication projects across the group and will be responsible for developing, shaping and delivering internal communications to inspire and engage colleagues across Together.

As an Internal Communications Officer, we are looking for someone to:

  • Act as a cooperative point of contact for internal communication and engagement needs
  • Develop, shape and deliver engaging communications that make a real difference to colleagues
  • Produce engaging vlogs
  • Produce an internal weekly newsletter to keep colleagues up-to-date and liaise with stakeholders and the design team to ensure deadlines are managed
  • Engage colleagues to take part in the recognition programme
  • Inspire colleagues to ‘play their part’ through engaging events such as Long Service, Exec Breakfasts, Group Town Halls
  • Contribute to, and maintain an editorial calendar to plan upcoming campaigns
  • Own the Intranet keeping it maintained, updated and current in its content
  • Through measurement, feedback and analysis, continuously improve and enhance the reputation, experience, function and capacity of internal communications
Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience in a communication role
  • The ability to be creative in a commercial environment
  • Experience supporting web and social media platforms
  • Excellent experience of establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across a business
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • Strong digital creative skills - basic design skills
  • Experience of editing suites
  • Event planning experience
  • Marketing campaign planning
