Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of internal audit professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Strategic Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans aligned with business objectives, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify and evaluate key risks, ensuring that adequate controls are in place to mitigate these risks effectively.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous internal audit methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations to enhance their internal controls and processes.
Training and Development: Oversee the continuous development of team members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
Innovation: Drive the adoption of innovative audit techniques and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Professional Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Experience in internal audit, with a strong background in leading and managing teams.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in internal audit.
Communication Skills : Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
