The Opportunity
The Internal Communications Manager will join the Communications and Engagement Directorate, for a 12-month fixed term contract.
The Internal Communications Manager will develop impactful and strategic communication plans, key messages and material that helps inform, educate, engage and encourage employees to contribute to strategic priorities.
The role will report to the Head of Communications and Marketing and work closely with team members across the directorate.
Key stakeholders include the People Directorate, the Academic Engagement team, the Executive Team and Executive Office and the Programme Management Unit.
The role holder will line manage an Internal Communications Coordinator and will manage discrete projects involving individuals across different teams.

The ideal candidate would be willing to work in the office 2 days a week and be immediately available or with a short notice period.
